if i had a world of my own everything would be nonsense She hadn't really counted on visitors today, but upon her meeting with a strange young man in the forest, she now had one trailing behind her as they entered the farming/ranching district, which lay not too far outside of town. She slid a little bit as she went down, but finally, her feet touched the familiar soil of the land she called home. The trees that she had in the area lined the spaces between her home, which was a tiny, dull-looking cabin, and the barn, painted blue because Gale had insisted on that color instead of red. Just beside the barn lay a tiny coop, a fenced in area for chickens that Gale did not yet possess. In a large fenced in space behind the barn, a marble-colored cow was laying down, basking within the sunlight of the fresh day. Gale's Cow, Tabetti seemed quite pleased, and didn't seem to notice that the master of her land had returned home, instead more focused on swatting flies away from her backside with a lashing tail. Shep, who had gotten home alright, was laying in his dog house, but he didn't seem too pleased with Gale bringing the strange man back to the house, because he flipped onto his side, his back facing them. Gale laughed a bit nervously before leading Mako down the dirt trail, unlocking the door and stepping aside. "You can go on in. I'm just going to put my finds in the store room and I'll be with you in a minute." Upon going inside, Mako would see just about how poorly Gale was living at the moment. The farmhouse was fairly neat, aside from things scattered upon the rickety old bed in the corner, but it was far to small for most people who weren't gale, and didn't mind close quarters. In the other far corner rested an area for cooking, but it couldn't exactly be used for much else besides a quick meal, and her fridge didn't look like it could hold much. a table with three chairs sat just beside the door, tiny and round but seeming to be one of the sturdier things inside. And lastly a door, to something that one could only assume (and hope) was to the bathroom. Gale didn't take too long and hustled in through the door, shutting it behind her. "Pretty great place ain't it?" she asked with a broad grin. But...who besides her would love a place like this? |
