if i had a world of my own everything would be nonsense If she had to be truthful, she should have been working. And well...she was. Until the sights and sounds of the morning on "Market Street" as she liked to call it caught her attention. It wasn't like she didn't work all the time anyway, and the farm didn't have any animals yet so it wasn't like she was slacking off...almost wasn't like it. She still had to place an order for a cow, which she was most probably supposed to be doing right now. But that could wait. For now, she had some very important and needed goofing off to attend to! She inhaled once again and exhaled, sighing and continuing to walk until the market area was far behind her. She pushed the doors to the local cafe open. At least here she could spend a bit and not feel too bad about it. Shep followed in after her, and no one really bothered her since it was well known around May Falls that the rancher and the dog did not go anywhere without one another, and if they were seen apart, then Gale had probably done something stupid, like fell into a well....of course, this was just hypothetical speaking. Ordering a coffee, she sat down and picked up the issue of the paper that was on the table. Finally, a little relaxation... |
